　 南アフリカ（Day 1967），南カリフォルニア，汎世界種（Hartman 1968）， カリフォルニア，藻場や転石下に普通（Smith Carlton 1975; 1989）， 北極海，北太平洋，北大西洋，地中海，南アフリカ，ほか（Hartmann-Schröder 1996）．
　 模式産地はイギリス（Day 1967）．

　 体側に二本の縦縞（Imajima Hartman 1964，Day 1967，Hartmann-Schröder 1996）， しばしば中央に1本加わる（Hartman 1968，Smith Carlton 1975; 1989 181-182 pl.32.108）．
　 Eulalia trilineata Saint Joseph 1888 は体節ごとに3列のスポット状斑紋， 連続した線にならない（Day 1967）．
