　 相模湾，田辺湾，笠岡湾，博多湾，天草富岡などの浅海 （岡田ら 1965，内田 1979）． 本州中部以南，アマモ帯などに多く， 夜間集魚灯下に浮上してくることもある（西村 1992）．
