　 南カリフォルニア West Cortes Basin（Hartman 1968）， カリフォルニア湾 Forallon and Guaymas Basin，Central American Trench（Fauchald 1972）．

　 Ceratocephale pacifica は第1剛毛節から， Ceratocephale loveni は第3剛毛節から， 腹触糸が2叉することで区別される（Fauchald 1972）． C. loveni は北大西洋産（Hartman 1968，Fauchald 1972）．
