　 暖流域，海岸線附近の砂や海藻に付着（岡田ら 1965）． スペイン南部地中海開口部外縁 100-500m（Villanueva-Guimerans Canudo 2008）．

　 足柄山地南部ボーリングコア 826-836m 石灰質砂岩および泥岩，伊豆半島が衝突する^{* 1} 以前の伊豆−小笠原弧の浅海堆積物である可能性が高い（林ら 2006）．
