　 北海道厚岸湾，室蘭（岡田ら 1965，Utinomi 1971）． 北海道 浅海域のヒドロ虫，および駿河湾 355-381m（Nakamura Child 1991）．
　 Eudendrium annulatum Norman に付着した雌を採集（Utinomi 1954）． エダウミヒドラの仲間に付着，生時淡黄色，脚に紅色斑（岡田ら 1965）． 紅色斑はアルコール液浸により消失する（Utinomi 1954）．

　 ソコウミグモのなかまには，ふ化した幼生が ヒドロムシのポリプの体壁を食い破って胃腔内にはいりこみ， そこでしばらく寄生生活をする種類も知られている（内海 1983, 1990 261）．
　 マカロネシアおよび北米大西洋岸から記録された A. maritimus は ホンダワラ類の流れ藻や海面浮遊性のヒドロ虫類から採集されている （Bamber Costa 2009 179-180）．
　 北海道で採集された キタカミクラゲからは エゾイソウミグモの幼生 7 ステージが得られている(Okuda 1940 73-86 figs.1-10)．
　 ヴィシャーカパトナムでは水深 10-12m の養殖魚用のケージに付着したヒドロ虫から ミドリアバラムシが採集されている （Veena et al. 2008）．
