　 房総半島以南および山口県以西，水深 10～100m の細砂底（波部 奥谷 1983）． 相模湾，山口県以南，水深 10～100m の細砂泥底（奥谷 19940）． 房総半島・山陰地方から九州，水深 10～50m，砂底，長距離を遊泳移動する（奥谷 2000）．
